Hi! You left a comment for me asking about the Built By You patterns from Simplicity and I thought I would answer here. I tried 3835 a few months ago and even though I'm only still learning to sew, it went really well!
The one that gave me trouble was 3964 (there's an insert part at the front that is a little tricky).
Since it's your first pattern, I thought I would warn you (although you may already know this) that for some reason commercial patterns are always huge: on both these patterns I had to adjust the side seams quite a bit. Even though I measured myself and used the proper size, the dresses ended up huge! I had to alter as I went along.
